Note: Brand New PC (literally got today), Windows 11, Windows Terminal came preinstalled. To get any new exe to work I have to either add the exe to a folder already in my PATH or add new folder as usual and then reinstall windows terminal for it to be recognized. These commands also work on powershell 7 or cmd when not used in Windows Terminal. This issue only occurs when I open Windows Terminal by clicking "Windows Terminal" or using any tab that isn't the first tab when opening it by clicking "powershell 7". And for some reason that first tab works. It's obviously not a path problem when doing a 'dir grep' in the directory where the file resides results in 'File Not Found' in Webstorm Terminal. On the Settings tab, expand the Tools section, and specify another folder in the Shell scripts location field. With windows terminal set as default I can simply click "powershell 7", in my start menu" and it opens within windows terminal. Shell: cmd.exe echo path in Webstorm Terminal and Windows command prompt yield the exact same. Open the Toolbox App, click the Toolbox App menu icon in the top right corner, and select Settings. The term 'X' is not recognized as a name of a cmdlet. Run that exe from within windows terminal (powershell or cmd).Add any folder to your path variable with an exe in it.This may become an issue if you are running versions of WSL that are not installed using the Windows store.Tested with ffmpeg and yt-dlp Steps to reproduce WebStorm Cannot find VM options file Follow Marcin Created Ma07:55 Hello, After upgrading to Webstorm 2016.1, Webstorm wont start complaining that: Cannot find VM options file. I was able to to get the terminal running with no issues, but need the debugging features available in WebStorm. Please note: This is for break debugging capabilities using WebStorm and not just terminal use. I had to select File -> Exit from the IntelliJ application as opposed to using IntelliJs internal restart option: File -> Invalidate Caches / Restart -> Just Restart.
